The Reconditioning Process
First, we have hundreds of take-off Toyota OEM wheels (original equipment manufacturer or 'factory wheels' for short), from all brands, delivered to our wheel shops almost daily. We choose a selection of Toyota MR2 wheels for refinishing.
Our techs submit the used take-off stock wheels to a series of stress tests to find their structural integrity, their true center, and their tolerance, to ensure the rims will operate and balance to factory and safety specs. Consequently, we colorize the wheel by applying powder or liquid last-generation coating. Finally, we cover the wheel surface with a clear coating to maximize durability and protection to their finish.
